Almost 100 years ago, or more precisely in 1931, the barn of the Karashka House was built. Until the end of the last century, there were animals on the lower floor and hay on the upper floor. From a barn full of manure and moisture, today the lower floor of the barn is separated as a studio for two people. The hosts of Karashka House have experience in accommodating tourists and know well the needs of their guests. The interior is dominated by wood and stone, which together with the semi-excavation of the room give a particularly good micro climate. In summer, in the hottest days, the room is pleasantly cool, and in winter, the temperature never drops below zero, even in the coldest days. The kitchen is made of solid wood, the worktop is made of over 140-year-old oak beams, and the sink trough is made of a copper vessel for preparing lutenitsa. Half of the floor is made of stone slabs and the other half is made of boards. The entire ceiling is boarded up, even in the bathroom. The studio is equipped with air conditioning, which is mainly used for heating. The walls and floor of the bathroom are covered with natural stone mosaic and there is underfloor heating. And in the bathroom, the sink is made of a copper pot for making lutenitsa in the past. The beds are made of solid wood and can easily be separated or combined into one double bed. There are pictures of wild animals on the walls and through the windows you can see the ridge of Stara Planina. The cups and plates are Trojan ceramics and the hangers are made of deer antlers. This is a brief description of the interior of the barn of a guest house and vacation spot near Apriltsi.
